Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper examines the critical importance of family lineage preservation in maintaining individual and collective identity formation in an increasingly globalized world. Through interdisciplinary analysis encompassing psychological, anthropological, and sociological perspectives, this study explores how knowledge of ancestral heritage influences identity development, cultural continuity, and psychological well-being. The research investigates the multifaceted implications of genealogical disconnection, particularly within diasporic communities, while examining both traditional and technological approaches to heritage preservation. Findings suggest that deliberate transmission of family history serves as a crucial foundation for psychological resilience, cultural identity maintenance, and intergenerational value transmission.
