Abstract: Phosphorus is one of the most important elements of plant nutrition.Without its optimal presence, plants cannot complete their life cycle. In nature, it occurs in the pentavalent form.It is part of a large number of organic compounds: nucleoproteins, phospholipids, enzymes, and PhosPhorus i n Plant nutritionSustainable agriculture prioritizes environmental protection, economic profitability, and social equality. The stated principles imply that the current needs of the inhabitants of the land (e.g., short-term economic gain) should not jeopardize the ability of future generations to meet their needs.1 The basic assumption for the application of proper plant nutrition is a good knowledge of the stock of biogenic elements in the soil, and of all the physicochemical characteristics of the soil and other ecological factors that affect soil productivity. In order to maintain the level of nutrients in the soil and the planned height of the crop, it is important to control the intake and loss of nutrients, that is, their balancing, so the research that is the subject of this paper was conducted with this purpose in mind.Sustainable phosphorus (P) management is a key component in meeting the above priorities.
