Abstract: Oral health in Indonesia is still a major problem. Based on Basic Health Research (Riskesda) data, the largest proportion of oral health problems is cavities, which amounted to 45.3%. Children are individuals with an age range from 6 years to 12 years or the age of individuals at the elementary school level (SD). A clean and healthy lifestyle is one part of a public health approach that aims to prevent disease and promote health. The formation of PHBS from an early age can be done through health education for children in the school environment. Intrapersonal communication can be an effective communication medium for individuals in fostering good relationships. The results showed that there was a significant difference in respondents' knowledge of oral health after being given oral health education with an interpersonal communication approach.
