A study of methodologies for assessing semantic similarity between two ontologies
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper aims at presenting a methodology to assess similarity between two ontologies. Many works on similarities between ontologies have been done. That is not the case between ontologies. This approach based on set theory, edges and feature similarity consists of two parts. Firstly, we determine set of concepts shared by two ontologies and Their differences before assessing similarity between the ontologies. Secondly the methodological part will be an extension of the first one. In this part, the method of assessing similarity values between two ontologies is extended by considering the "is-a" relation between concepts two ontologies.
