Abstract: This study investigates the effect of various pre-sowing seed treatments under the scarification method to assess the germination parameters on Acacia Polyacantha, Acacia Mearnsii, and Faidherbia Albida, which has been appointed as a Multipurpose agroforestry tree seed with the problem of Dormancy. Fourteen treatments were tested, and germination percentage, mean germination time, mean germination rate, and germination value were measured. The primary objective of the study is to break their dormancy and provide the most effective, safe, and economical pre-sowing treatments for each species to users.
