Abstract: This article carried out an exploratory study into the use of YouTube to promote vapes in Brazil. Five active profiles were mapped in 2024, as well as disinformation strategies about vapes. Videos made by digital influencers taught how to use the device, with product reviews and interviews with health experts. Direct and indirect sales strategies were identified in the videos. The channels did not delimit the audience, but the tutorials had the potential to influence young people to consume the vapes. Future studies should investigate media education on the consumption of vapes in Brazil.
