Abstract: Maker Culture (CM) promotes the idea that a person can create or modify objects, using accessible technologies and sharing knowledge in collaborative communities. This movement values creativity, practical learning and open innovation, encouraging individuals to become active producers rather than mere consumers. Augmented Reality (AR) inserts digital elements into the physical world, creating interactive experiences, being widely adopted in sectors such as games, entertainment and education, where it provides new ways of learning. Combining CM with AR offers significant potential to innovate educational and professional practices. This article highlights how the integration of these technologies can make the teaching and learning process more dynamic and personalized, facilitating the understanding of complex concepts through interactive visualizations. In teaching environments, for example, AR can be used to provide detailed, real-time instructions, while CM empowers students to apply this knowledge in practical and creative ways. Therefore, a bibliographical review was carried out with publications related to the topic, pointing out innovative methodologies, concluding that the convergence of these approaches represents an important tool to stimulate the development of essential skills in the 21st century.
