Automated Fault Tolerance and Accelerated Validation of Automotive Grade Semiconductor Memory Controllers via Dynamic Reinforcement Learning and Multi-Modal Data Fusion

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: **Abstract:** This paper introduces a novel methodology for improving the fault tolerance and accelerating the validation process of automotive-grade semiconductor memory controllers. Leveraging dynamic reinforcement learning (DRL) coupled with multi-modal data fusion—integrating electrical characterization data, simulation results, and error logs—our system autonomously discovers and mitigates potential failure modes that traditional testing methods often miss. We demonstrate a significant reduction in validation time and an enhanced ability to guarantee the long-term reliability demanded by automotive applications, achieving a 35% reduction in reported error rates during accelerated life testing compared to conventional stress testing methods.
