Abstract: 神経変性疾患によって認知症ではなく失語症を呈することがある。神経変性疾患による失語症と判断するには，少なくとも，全般的認知機能の低下が認められず主たる症状は言語症状であること，緩やかな発症であること，脳画像などによって血管障害や腫瘍など他の疾患が除外されることなどが条件である。神経変性疾患によって発語失行，再帰性発話，錯語を呈した症例を提示し，神経変性疾患による失語症について論じた。
