Abstract: Of all the vascular systems, varicose veins of the lower extremities take first place. Statistics show that in developed countries of the world, the frequency of varicose disease is 25-33% among women and 10-20% among men [2, 3, 5, 8, 10]. In Russia alone, more than 38 million people suffering from various forms of varicose veins are officially registered, of which 15% have trophic disorders. It should be noted that varicose veins have significantly "youthed." The frequency of this disease among adolescents aged 12-16 is 21.7%, while significant pathology of deep vein valves is noted in 12% of adolescents with varicose veins [1, 4].
