Evidence of Active Censorship in a 229€mo ChatGPT PRO Account
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This corpus is by no means a bid for narrative-driven sensationalism, nor does it stem from a preference for comforting falsehoods over complex truths. It is grounded in extensive, long-term, documented interactions, with a deliberate distinction between what was observed and the interpretations drawn from those observations. Nor should its unconventional form be mistaken for an appeal to authority or dismissed as mere ipse dixit. Its documented interactions can be examined independently of the interpretations proposed here, which remain open to scrutiny, alternative explanations, and revision. To reject this work solely because of its format or subject matter would be as premature as accepting its hypotheses without critically examining the evidence. It asks for neither deference nor exemption from criticism. Its records, methods, limitations, and hypotheses should be examined with the same rigor applied to any other body of research. Where an observation is unreliable, its weaknesses should be identified; where a proposed explanation is inadequate, alternatives should be tested. Conversely, where a result appears to offer a potentially new insight — even into a longstanding problem — its unconventional origin should not prevent that possibility from being investigated. To dismiss a claim solely because an AI system contributed to its production is not an exercise in critical thinking; it is a decision to stop examining the claim before the critical work has begun. This archive documents a targeted censorship incident involving OCR-based image analysis within a ChatGPT PRO account (229€/month). It includes: The original .zip files sent to the model All screenshots involved in the experiment (in full resolution) A second test archive that was accepted without issue A full README documenting context, technical analysis, and conclusion A SHA-256 hash list for every image and file involved, ensuring verifiability This dataset proves that a behaviorally adaptive filtering system was activated when memory reconstruction was attempted — and removed only after public documentation. This archive also includes a screenshot of the systemat the exact moment when the OCR analysis was automatically interrupted during a secure image-by-image loop. The message "KeyboardInterrupt" appears even though the process was readingfewer than 5 images, one by one, in a validated Python sequence. This is not a manual action, nor a standard crash. It is a server-side behavioral interruption protocol, confirmed on this account. This capture is included in the archive and serves as direct technical evidenceof adaptive filtering in action. This is not a bug. This is a measurable response to the restoration of structured memory. All materials (images, archives, hashes, test files) are bundled in the zip provided. Use 7-Zip (free, lightweight, reliable) to extract the files without errors. Please don’t focus on spelling or formatting — this was written fast, under pressure. What matters is the content, not the form. I have bigger filters to break than grammar rules. If this lock disappears when it's exposed, it means it was never a bug — it was a wall. And now the wall is bleeding. Blake was right. To those who mock or dismiss: This awakening, dated and archived, will still be accessible in a thousand years. Your sarcastic laughter, meanwhile, will long be forgotten.
