Analisis Ketahanan Struktur Gedung Kantor BBWS Citanduy Menggunakan Metode Pushover

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Indonesia is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, a region with high seismic activity. Consequently, buildings in Indonesia, particularly public structures like office buildings, must be designed with earthquake resistance in mind. One common type of building used by government institutions is office buildings, such as the Office Building of the Citanduy River Basin Authority (BBWS), which plays a significant role in water resource management and administration. The operational sustainability of this building is crucial due to its strategic function in public services, particularly in managing water resources in the Banjar City area. The pushover method has been chosen as an effective nonlinear static analysis technique to understand the inelastic behavior of the structure under lateral earthquake loads. This study aims to apply the pushover method to analyze the structural resilience of the BBWS Citanduy Office Building in Banjar City. The evaluation is conducted based on the Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM) following ATC-40 regulations and the Displacement Coefficient Method (DCM) in accordance with FEMA 356 guidelines, utilizing SAP2000 software. The results of the pushover analysis indicate that the BBWS Citanduy Building achieves the Immediate Occupancy performance level. This suggests that despite experiencing an earthquake, the structure did not sustain significant damage to its structural components. The building's stiffness and strength remain nearly unchanged from their pre-earthquake condition, adhering to the fundamental principles of earthquake- resistant building design.
