Abstract: We know that dictionaries and lexicons are growing in accordance with the development of the language and the nature of the language of the respective period. Although it is said that dictionaries are essential for the language, they realized the time and compiled new rhetoric and published it in books. It helped the development of the Tamil language greatly. We are in an environment where Tamil grammar and literature are taught to students in a scientific manner with modern facilities suitable for today's times. For this, students, researchers and linguistic scholars should use today's electronic media.
