Abstract: The development of online transportation modes is beginning to affect the existence of conventional transportation modes because online transportation is more accommodating to the needs of passengers personally, privately and exclusively. Passenger characteristics greatly affect the choice of mode of transportation. This study aims to find out the characteristics and factors that affect travelers in choosing online transportation modes and conventional transportation. Data processing for this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program to determine the factors that affect the selection of online transportation modes and conventional transportation. The output of the regression equation model obtained for the travel attributes and repondent characteristics is to produce the equation Y = 0.095-0.052X1+0.006X2+0.061X3+0.003X4+0.080X5. The results of the questionnaire distribution to mall visitors were obtained by most (55%) users choosing online transportation and (45%) choosing conventional transportation as a mode of travel to the Asia Plaza Mall Tasikmalaya. Based on the correlation test, the influencing factors are time, rate, comfort, service, and availability with R Square = 0.690.
