Suggesting a Post-teaching Approach for Significant Efl Learning and Practice in Cote D’ivoire
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: : Several EFL teaching methods or approaches followed one another in Ivorian classrooms without meeting significantly the expectations due to the fact that they are elaborated principally for inside classroom learning and practice. This pedagogic restriction triggered a lot of issues from which the cases of students’ learning process and their communication skills development still remain questionable. Considering this situation, we then suggest the implementation of a post-teaching approach to EFL learning and practice as a pedagogic continuum to fulfill the insufficiencies of the current teaching approach noticed either inside the classroom or outside school. Through such an approach, some didactic implications, underlying principles and orientations about post-teaching materials design have been suggested to meet Ivorian learners’ difficulties, needs and wants in EFL learning and communication practice.
