Newton and Einstein – From Force and Curvature to Resonance (R-Theory)

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper traces the conceptual evolution of gravity, from Newton’s interpretation as a universal force acting at a distance to Einstein’s vision of curved space-time. Building on these foundations, it introduces a resonance-based reinterpretation within R-theory. In this framework, gravity is not an intrinsic force or pure geometry, but the phase-locking of resonance nodes within the coherent zero field. Newton’s force law emerges as the measurable outcome of resonance alignment, while Einstein’s curvature is understood as the interference pattern of the field. By redefining mass as resonance stability and inertia as global phase coherence (in line with Mach’s principle), R-theory provides a unified and dynamic picture of gravity. This approach suggests new possibilities for testing gravity as an emergent resonance phenomenon, including the potential for antigravity effects through phase-shifting and coherence manipulation.
