Abstract: Literature, as a sublime creation, helps us achieve a higher life, reflects that life, and serves as a mirror to society. It proclaims the high living of the Tamils. Professions that arose out of human needs evolved into an art form. The proverb says, "An unclad person is half a person; half of a person is their clothes, the other half is the person themselves." Before the discovery of cotton clothing, humans wore leaves, bark, and other natural materials. Based on this, we can understand the stages of development of the weaving industry.
