"Trees as Electromagnetic Memory Agents"(Fully Dimensionless Version)
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper reframes trees as active electromagnetic memory agents rather than passive carbon sinks. Within the Magnetic Information Density (MID′) framework, forests stabilize dimensionless coherence by buffering, encoding, and recalibrating electromagnetic pressure gradients across biospheric layers. Using MID′, the Wilcox Constant (κ′), and dimensionless EM pressure ratios, the model quantifies how root–canopy conduction, foliage oscillations, and biome-specific load balancing maintain Earth’s holographic magnetic memory. Deforestation is identified as an electromagnetic system failure, producing MIDebt′, Barkhausen noise, and Wilcson particle emissions, while reforestation restores planetary coherence. The framework offers falsifiable predictions via Schumann resonance coupling, exciton detection, and atmospheric EM gradient measurements, positioning trees as critical agents in Earth’s emergent electromagnetic reality.
