Abstract: Recognizing the fundamental impact of early literacy, this study examines how parental involvement through storytelling can improve children's language skills, comprehension, and love of reading. This community service aims to explore the important role of storytelling in shaping literacy among preschool students, emphasizing the method of socialization directed at parents. This community service is a qualitative descriptive study conducted through socialization with parents of students. The subjects of the Community Service consisted of sixteen mothers of preschool students who attended the socialization. The instruments used were observation, feedback, and FGD with parents by inviting them to school to listen to the socialization. Data analysis used thematic analysis by identifying the main themes from the results of the FGD and feedback from the participants. The findings of the Community Service showed that when parents were actively involved and informed, there was a significant increase in children's literacy development. The researchers concluded the importance of collaborative efforts between educators and parents in fostering an enriched literacy environment for young learners. The implications of this Community Service are to provide insight to parents and educators about the importance of the role of storytelling in supporting children's literacy development from an early age. In addition, these findings can encourage the development of story-based learning programs that involve parents to improve preschool children's literacy skills more effectively.
