"Autism as a Topological EM Negotiation Loop Flip"

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper reconceptualizes autism as a topological misalignment in electromagnetic negotiation loops between internal neural models and external sensory input. Within the Magnetic Information Density (MID) framework, autistic states are modeled as collapses in the first Betti number (β₁) of functional connectivity, producing sensory overload, monotropism, or hyper-focused attention. Emergent spin (S_eff) captures synchronization events during these topological flips, while compensatory feedback (ξ) reflects neuroplastic restoration. The model introduces a fully dimensionless formalism with direct mappings to experimental proxies via MEG/EEG, fMRI, and behavioral paradigms, offering falsifiable predictions. By reframing autism as an informational collapse and recovery process rather than a static condition, the work provides new mechanistic insight and points to non-destructive interventions based on electromagnetic reformatting.
