Abstract: Payment transaction processing has transformed as cloud-native architectures replace outdated monolithic systems with adaptable microservice frameworks. The modern payment cycle moves through distinct steps: checking cards and funds, locking in payment post-delivery, moving money between banks, and matching all records for accuracy. Digital stores and subscription businesses gain the most from these advances - their systems now process more payments at once, continue working during outages, and create smooth buying experiences. Splitting payment processing into smaller connected services has completely changed how digital payments work, creating stronger financial systems that adapt to market shifts while keeping transactions secure and reliable.
