Abstract: The choice of an educational institution by parents is influenced by multiple factors, including academic reputation, infrastructure, faculty quality, extracurricular opportunities, and financial considerations. This study explores these factors using an exploratory methodology to gain in-depth insights into parental decision-making processes. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 100 respondents. The study relies on semi structured questionnaires and interviews to collect the data. The findings highlight key determinants such as school reputation, curriculum, quality education and peer influence, which play a crucial role in parental choices. The research provides valuable insights for educational institutions seeking to align their offerings with parental expectations and improve their appeal to prospective students.
