Methodological approaches to managing strategic changes and investment decisions in the operational activities of modern organizations
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines methodological approaches to managing strategic changes and making investment decisions in the operational activities of modern organizations. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing complexity of the business environment, globalization, digital transformation, and wartime challenges, which require integrated approaches to ensure enterprise resilience and competitiveness. The purpose of the article is to provide theoretical justification and to develop methodological foundations for managing strategic changes and making investment decisions, considering environmental dynamics. The research applies a systemic and structural-functional approach, allowing the identification of key subsystems (target, analytical, planning, organizational, resource, executive, and control) and their functions. A structural model of strategic change management has been developed, and the functions (planning, organization, coordination, motivation, and control) that integrate strategic and investment aspects have been systematized. The study highlights the main stages of the process: preparation, implementation, control, and evaluation of effectiveness. Conclusions emphasize the need for a comprehensive methodological approach, overcoming staff resistance to change, and fostering an innovation-oriented culture. Further research should focus on developing employee competencies to improve the effectiveness of managing strategic changes and investment projects.
