Abstract: Anton Crihan, a fighter for the Union of Bessarabia with Romania, had the chance to take refuge in the Free World in time and to transmit messages of encouragement and resistance in the fight for freedom and peoples' rights from across the ocean to those who remained behind the "Iron Curtain" to decide their own way forward. This is also the case with his speech on March 27 and 28, 1968, at the "Europa Liberă" radio station, when it was the 50th anniversary of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania. The document was identified in the National Archives from Iași, presenting a special historical and documentary significance
