Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into military operations is transforming the landscape of modern warfare, enhancing combat readiness and operational efficiency. This paper explores the role of AI in automating various aspects of military functions, including reconnaissance, command and control, logistics, and maintenance. By examining the ways AI improves decision-making, speeds up data processing, and optimizes resource management, the study highlights how AI contributes to more effective and agile military forces. The research also addresses the ethical and security challenges associated with AI deployment, such as accountability in autonomous systems and potential vulnerabilities to cyberattacks. The findings demonstrate that while AI significantly enhances combat readiness, careful regulation and oversight are essential to mitigate the risks of autonomous warfare and ensure responsible use. Ultimately, this paper presents AI as a crucial factor in the future of military operations, offering insights into its potential to reshape defense strategies and elevate military preparedness.
