After Death and Before the Final Drive: Either Metamorphosis or Liberation!
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This profound article explores the Islamic concept of the afterlife, presenting a compelling interpretation based on Quranic verses. It proposes two distinct destinies after death: the righteous attain immediate liberation, passing through death only once to await eternal bliss. In contrast, those who wrong their own souls are condemned to repeated cycles of life, death, and metamorphosis (maskh) in lower forms on Earth, enduring continuous torment before facing the ultimate punishment of the Hereafter. The article challenges readers to reflect on their ultimate fate.
