Abstract: The NEXUS project aims to co-design, implement, and evaluate innovative, inclusive Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in European research and innovation institutions. This Policy Brief identifies systemic barriers and opportunities, proposes concrete solutions, and issues targeted policy recommendations grounded in the evidence generated throughout the project. Drawing on empirical findings and stakeholders’ insights, it outlines policy implications for research and innovation institutions seeking to adopt a more dynamic, participatory, and sustainable framework for gender equality.
