Abstract: Investigating the effects of training on the employee"s performance of the Cooperative Bank of Oromia Dire Dawa district is the study's main goal. The study makes a case for the influence of training on business performance. It is anticipated that this will assist the bank in understanding the factors that are important to organizational success as well as the connection between training and employee"s performance. Only employees who worked at the Dire Dawa City district head office and branches were thought to be qualified to take part in the study. A quantitative method was employed by the researcher. A descriptive research design was used for this study. There are 200 CBO employees across the fourteen (14) branches in Dire Dawa and the district head office. Purposive or judgmental sampling techniques were used in the study, which used non-probability sampling. A total of 132 workers were selected to receive and administer surveys. There were both primary and secondary data used. Independent variables of the study are training design, ,on the job training methods and off the job training methods while dependent variable is employee"s performance. According to the study's findings, CBO gave an average rating of "good" for the training objective, training content, and trainer choice. , the value of the adjusted R square is 0.48, which states that there is a change of 48.0% in the dependent variable due to the effect of the independent variable. It also shows that 48.0% of the variation in organizational performance is explained by training design and training methods (on- and off-job methods). It is advised that CBO training providers take this into consideration when creating training and development programs.
