Abstract: A new locality of Xestobium austriacum Reitter, 1890 was recorded in the Western Beskids Mts. The male of this species was collected in a spruce dead wood, in the Babia Góra National Park. A key for the identification of the Polish species of the Xestobium Motsch. genus was added.
