Email Subscription, Publishing Internal Contents and Profile Highlighting

Abstract: This presentation focuses on internally developed functionality implemented by the HealthPartners Institute software engineering team to meet the needs of our Institute. The email subscription module allows users to select topics of interest and receive email updates on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. An IP Address-based filtering mechanism distinguishes content for either internal and external access, thus ensuring secure and context-aware delivery of our site content. Additionally, our profile page includes a publication highlights feature that enables users to showcase selected publications from their portfolio, improving visibility and personalization. These features were requested by our Institute leaders and investigators to make our Vivo site more visible, widely used by the organization, and to increase the visibility of our investigators.
