Research on Distributed Security Storage Technology for Important and Sensitive Oilfield Data
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Important and sensitive data of oilfields are characterized by large data volume, multi-source heterogeneity, and decentralized storage, including various types of exploration, geological and production data. They play a key role in oilfield development, determining the location of the oilfield, reserves and the formulation of the extraction program, and directly affecting the production efficiency and economic benefits. Due to the decentralized and heterogeneous nature of the data, the confidentiality and integrity of these sensitive data are of utmost importance, which is directly related to enterprise security and national interests. In order to solve the problem of difficult and high cost of uploading important and sensitive data in oilfield, this solution adopts a storage method combining blockchain and IPFS, with blockchain verifying the information with each other and IPFS supporting content-based lookups; for the security mechanism of access control, this solution establishes an encrypted access control model based on the attributes of oilfield data in blockchain, and realizes the legitimate user's access to the oilfield information at a finer granularity by formulating identity attribute policies; in addition, it reduces the risk of a single point of failure through the joint participation of multiple authorization agencies in one-to-many verification of attributes; finally, various stakeholders in the oilfield can query and retrieve the relevant private data at any time through the blockchain in accordance with the access rights to ensure openness and transparency of the information and to achieve the traceability and accountability of the attribute authorization agencies. The proposed scheme confirms the advantages in access security, data forward security, and collusion attack resistance of the platform.
