Abstract: This manuscript introduces the Event System Model (ESM), a law-governed interpreter for explainable and corrigible AI. ESM unifies governance, residual validation, and repair into a formal architecture, enabling accountability, corrigibility, and transparency in AI systems. The paper presents the core execution kernel, ledger, and lawbook abstraction; discusses scalability, uncertainty, and security; and outlines theoretical foundations and a roadmap for deployment.
