Iran dynamic triggering study codes

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This repository contains the codes used for the analysis of dynamically triggered seismicity in Iran, as presented in our recent study. The codes implement methodologies to identify, quantify, and visualize earthquake triggering events caused by distant large earthquakes, including data processing, waveform analysis, S–P time calculations, and plotting routines. These tools allow replication of our results and can be adapted for similar studies in other regions.Key Features:Detection and cataloging of dynamically triggered earthquakes.Calculation of transient stress and dynamic stress changes.Visualization of epicenters, triggered events, and fault interactions.S–P method implementation for distance and timing analyses.Scripts are compatible with commonly used seismic data formats and software.Usage: Researchers can use these codes to reproduce the analyses presented in the associated publication, as well as to explore dynamic triggering in other tectonic se
