Abstract: Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO), as a strategic posture of firms, has gained significant attention in entrepreneurship and strategic management. However, research on EO’s antecedents remains fragmented. Existing studies focus on individual, team, organizational, and environmental factors, but the key predictors of EO variation remain unclear. This study aims to address this gap by using machine learning techniques to analyze structured data from publicly listed firms and CEOs, along with unstructured textual data, to identify critical variables influencing EO. this study offers novel insights into the antecedents of EO, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of its influencing factors.
