Influence of the Inductance Ratio in the Oscillating Circuit on the Load Characteristics of an LLC Resonant DC-DC Converter

Abstract: This paper presents an LLC resonant DC-DC converter operating at a frequency above the resonant frequency. Based on a study using the first harmonic method, the main dependencies for the currents through the power devices have been determined. The load characteristics of the converter have been constructed. A methodology for its design has been proposed. The influence of the ratio of inductances in the resonant circuit of the resonant converter on the obtained load characteristics has been studied.
