Abstract: This presentation was delivered by Prof. Justin D. Holmes on the occasion of his honorary doctorate at the University of Latvia. This prestigious recognition celebrates Prof. Holmes’ outstanding contributions to nanomaterials chemistry, sustainable advanced materials, and international scientific collaboration - especially his 25-year partnership with Prof. Donats Erts and colleagues at the University of Latvia. In this presentation, Prof. Holmes talks about the TRANSLATE project alongside the RADICAL project.
