Abstract: NOTE: Please refer to Version v2 to access the latest versions of the files. This repository contains spatial data from the research paper "Identifying cliamte refugia to achieve Kunming-Montreal GBF Target 3 in central Chile. File description: Potential_Refugia.rar = Potential Refugia shapefile for the study area. This layer was built from prioritization using geodiversity, climate change velocity and biotic velocity criteria. Priority_Index.rar = Priority Index shapefile for the study area. Values categorized from 0 to 5; 0 corresponds to the lowest priority and 5 to the highest. This layer was built using floristic and socioeconomic criteria to adress refugia potential for conversion to protected areas within the study area. High_Priority_Refugia.rar = High Priority Refugia shapefile for the study area. This layer was built by applying the Priority Index with a 50% cutoff value to Potential Refugia. Potential_Refugia_Types.rar = Potential Refugia typology shapefile: Andean Headwater Forest Refugia, Coastal Headwater Forest Refugia, Riparian Forest Refugia, Forest Refugia and Non-forest Refugia. High_Priority_Refugia_Types.rar = High Priority Refugia typology shapefile: Andean Headwater Forest Refugia, Coastal Headwater Forest Refugia, Riparian Forest Refugia, Forest Refugia and Non-forest Refugia.
