Abstract: In Tamil literature, voices that should be heard about sexual abuse and caste oppression are scattered. Many voices that should be rebelled against are also stagnant as the groans of the voiceless. While the voice of gender equality is resounding in this century, feminist voices in the epic period are faltering. Despite this, people like Kannagi Madhavi rose up during a period of suppression and oppression. In this way, this article has been examined in the context of expressing the voice of the voiceless in the epic ‘Manimekalai’.
