On the Gluvić Constant: Theoretical Motivation and Early Empirical Evidence

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This work introduces the framework of Static Vibrational Reality (SVR), centered on the proposal of a universal vibrational constant — the Gluvić constant (Ω ≈ 2π × 31 nHz). The theory postulates that mass is not a static intrinsic property but the manifestation of a global vacuum oscillation, expressed by the relation: mc2 = ħΩ From this starting point, SVR makes falsifiable predictions: a universal oscillation at Ω and its harmonics (2Ω, 3Ω) should appear across independent physical domains. Unlike exploratory frequency scans, Ω is fixed a priori, providing a strict test of the hypothesis. This first-stage paper presents both the theoretical motivation (variational principle, nonlinear harmonic generation, link to vacuum energy) and a survey of publicly available datasets tested against these predictions. The evidence includes: Cosmology: Pantheon+ supernovae, OHD cosmic chronometers, BAO residuals. Astrophysics: ZTF AGN light curves, weak lensing (KiDS/DES), LIGO/Virgo ringdown, pulsar timing arrays. Laboratory: atomic clocks (NPL, Circular-T). Across domains, consistent oscillatory hints at Ω ≈ 31 nHz and harmonics appear, strongest in supernovae, AGN, and PTA pulsars, while atomic clock results remain near the threshold of detectability. The study does not claim definitive discovery but provides early multi-domain empirical evidence consistent with the SVR predictions. It sets the foundation for future blind tests and deeper statistical replication.
