Stellar Spectra as Active Communication and a Resolution of the Black Hole Information Paradox
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper proposes a novel framework for interpreting stellar and galactic spectra as active channels of communication rather than merely passive diagnostics of astrophysical processes. It distinguishes between natural reciprocity—where matter continuously broadcasts its physical state through invariant atomic transitions—and potential active modulation, in which intelligences or emergent processes might embed algorithmic patterns into spectral variability. The work outlines information-theoretic methods (compression analysis, cadence detection, cross-source correlation, and minimum description length) to test for such structures in existing astronomical archives. Finally, it reframes the black hole information paradox: since stars broadcast their physical states for millions to billions of years before collapse, their information is redundantly distributed across the cosmos. Black holes do not erase information; they simply end the broadcast
