The DART Orbital Anomaly and Its Gravito-Informational Interpretation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: NASA’s DART mission (2022) successfully altered the orbit of asteroid Dimorphos around Didymos by ~32 minutes, but subsequent observations revealed a further unexpected orbital decrease of ≈30 seconds over several weeks. While Standard Models (SM) explain the initial momentum transfer via ejecta recoil, they cannot account for the persistent orbital evolution. We present an interpretation within the Universal Gravito-Informational Theory (TGIU), where informational collapse gradients (∇Φ, ∇S) and the Equilibrium Force (TEF) act as hidden regulators of orbital dynamics. This framework naturally predicts residual shifts in orbital parameters due to informational memory (Ghost Dark Matter echoes) and collapse resonance (CR).
