Abstract: Web browsersarethe main toolforuser interaction with Internetresources and play akey role in information visualization and processing. During its operation, the browser not only displays static HTML content, but also actively interacts with various data sources, including local storage (cookies, localStorage, IndexedDB) and remote server databases accessed via REST-and GraphQL-API. This paper details the differences between local and remote data, their role in the performance, reliability, and security of web applications, and the impact of database architecture on overall browser performance, from response time to rendering speed and interface responsiveness. The research methodology includes network latency emulation, load testing using Apache JMeter and Artillery.io, as well as measurements via Lighthouse and Web Vitals API. The results demonstrate that highlatencyof remote requests leads to a significant decrease inpage load speed and degraded user experience, while the use of intermediate caching (Redis) allows for noticeably faster processing and smoother interaction. The paper emphasizes the importance of choosing the optimal storage architecture and hybrid strategies (local storage combined with caching at the CDN/Redis level) to ensure the stability and performance of modern web applications. The proposed recommendations will be useful for developerswhen designing and optimizing interfaces
