Further, in the conduct of their self-assessment as to their self-defense skills, it was found out that with techniques rated as good (2.75) and performance and execution rated as fair (2.27 and 2.25, respectively), resulting in an overall fair assessment (2.30) and highlighting the need for better training. Further, the test shows no significant differences in self-defense skill assessments across demographics, confirming that barangay police auxiliary officers face similar challenges, including inadequate training and resources.
