Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) and liquidity management in enhancing the financial stability of Islamic banks. The research adopts a qualitative approach with literature analysis and case studies. The method used is thematic analysis to identify key themes related to the role of SSB in Sharia compliance supervision and the impact of liquidity management on the financial stability of banks. The study also examines the challenges faced by Islamic banks in managing risks and liquidity, considering external factors such as global fiscal and monetary policies. The findings show that SSB plays a crucial role in maintaining Sharia compliance and good governance, which in turn supports the financial stability of Islamic banks. Characteristics of SSB, such as competence, meeting frequency, and the size of the board of directors, significantly influence the financial performance of banks. However, the main challenge faced by SSB is the lack of expertise in Sharia auditing and Islamic economics. Meanwhile, effective liquidity management, through financial instruments that comply with Sharia principles, is also crucial in maintaining the financial stability of Islamic banks, although more efficient regulation and tighter supervision are required. This study provides recommendations for improving collaboration between SSB, regulators, and other stakeholders to create a more resilient Islamic banking system amidst the dynamic global economic environment
