Abstract: The call to “surrender to Jesus” is a profound and transformative concept rooted inbiblical teachings. It involves yielding one’s entire being, i.e., mind, will, emotions, and actions, to the lordship of Christ. The Bible frames this surrender not as loss, but as alignment with God’s divine will, marked by trust, obedience, and inner transformation. Through Scripture, surrender is revealed in five key steps: acknowledging Christ as Lord, yielding to God’s will, cooperating with the Holy Spirit’s renewal, obeying in love, and offering oneself as a living sacrifice. These actions reflect a heart fully devoted to Jesus, resulting in spiritual freedom and peace.
