Abstract: The issues of developing a new laboratory complex in the course "Fundamentals of mobile communication systems", designed to train specialists in the field of information and communication technologies in the field of 11.03.02 "Information and communication technologies and communication systems", the training profile "Mobile communication systems". The aim of the work is to create a functional and effective methodological laboratory complex based on the ONEPLAN RPLD DB RFP computer-aided design software module, which allows simulating radio wave propagation, analyzing coverage areas and interference, optimizing network parameters to improve communication quality and increase bandwidth, and offering tools for generating reports and documentation used by telecom operators and system integrators and regulators for effective management of the radio frequency resource. The article presents the main topics and objectives of the developed complex and demonstrates the possibilities of its use in the educational process. The assessment of the effectiveness of teaching and student performance after the introduction of a new laboratory complex into the educational process was carried out.
