Automated Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) Formulation Optimization via Multi-Modal Data Integration and Predictive Modeling for mRNA Therapeutics
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: **Abstract:** The rapid development of mRNA therapeutics necessitates scalable and efficient LNP formulation optimization. Current methods rely heavily on iterative experimentation and expert intuition, hindering rapid therapeutic development cycles. This paper proposes a novel framework utilizing multi-modal data integration (chemical composition, structural properties, in vitro transfection efficiency, in vivo biodistribution) and a recursive hyper-scoring system to predict optimal LNP formulations. Employing advanced algorithms – AST parsing, graph neural networks, and Bayesian optimization – our system significantly reduces experimental iterations, predicts formulation performance with high accuracy, accelerates preclinical and clinical readiness, and offers a roadmap for industrial-scale LNP production. This methodology promises to be a 10x improvement over current LNP formulation optimization methods, impacting mRNA vaccine and gene therapy development significantly.
