Lepidoptera fauna of Kunashir Island (Russia): Update 2025

Abstract: In the present study, the twenty-eight Lepidoptera species are recorded from Kunashir Island for the first time (one of them, Chibidokuga hypenodes Inoue, 1979, is also new record to the fauna of Russia). Additionally, the occurrences of Eurydoxa advena Filipjev, 1930, Stigmatophora leacrita (Swinhoe, 1894) and Zanclognatha obliqua Staudinger, 1892 on the Kuril Islands are confirmed.
