Reinterpretation of the Double-Slit Experiment through Closed Surface Theory

Abstract: This paper reinterprets the classic double-slit experiment through Closed Surface Theory (CST), eliminating the need for wave-particle dualism. In CST, an electron is modeled as a continuous closed surface φ rather than a point particle. When encountering a double slit, this surface undergoes integer-ratio division (n : n–1) through both apertures while maintaining phase continuity. Beyond the slits, the divided φ-surfaces expand and geometrically reclose on the detection plane at discrete loci satisfying Δφ = 2nπ. The resulting interference fringes correspond to these reclosure zones—regions of minimal curvature energy and maximal phase compatibility. This geometric interpretation clarifies that the observed pattern arises not from probabilistic self-interference but from deterministic surface reconfiguration governed by curvature and phase alignment.
