Abstract: The golden ratio φ ≈ 1.618 emerges causally in FFC as a non-imposed, post-hoc discovered outcome of entropy minimization in recursive hierarchical branching within the fractal continuum. This process is grounded in the unitary evolution of probability waves E, ensuring self-consistency without numerological fits. Below, we present the full symbolic derivation from FD #6 (pages 20-21 of FFC v4), which integrates insights from FFC v3 (as referenced in revision histories, emphasizing natural emergence prior to full incorporation). The derivation avoids ad-hocs by deriving φ directly from the core wave equation and entropy (S), clarifying its causal role in hierarchies like the fine-structure constant α (included for completeness).
